Breaking News 2018:
December: After her success of a new partnership for delivering the E.H.E. EurAka's studies in Myanmar in November, two further partnerships in Egypt and Saudi Arabia have been established. The academic programmes of the E.H.E. EurAka will start in both countries at the beginning of 2019.
November: The E.H.E. EurAka is proud to inform that she is represented in Myanmar now. The University warmly welcomes her new students, who will start their studies in February 2019.
The start of a new strategic partnership between the German Federal Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses - BVMW - and E.H.E. EurAka. The goal is the development of new programmes of study, which are already in preparation, and which are at the center of the requirements of industry and trade.
The new Institute for Economy and Law, part of the Faculty of Economics, starts with two paralegal programmes, the MSc in Compliance Management and the MSc in International Trade and Law. Further programmes in law, leading to LLB and LLM Degrees will follow soon.
October: Due to her outstanding research activities, The GAME DBIC - E.H.E. EurAka has been awarded the Research Seal 2018/2019 "Innovative through Research" by the German Stifterverband (Federal Ministry for Education and Research, Federal Republic of Germany).
Prominent article in Greek newspapers: 'City Unity College in partnership with the Swiss University "European University EurAka - Switzerland" offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs for non-graduates or graduates in the fields of: Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, Hotel Tourism, Physical Education & Coaching and Theology.' September: The E.H.E. EurAka has achieved a new milestone. A next European country, Greece, has officially approved the private University and allows her to operate and to award her academic degrees. This approval by the Ministry of Education also has significance for the 'Bologna Area'.
July: The E.H.E. EurAka and the PMI ASIA Certified Education Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur have agreed on an academic collaboration. The PMI ASIA Certified Education Sdn Bhd will deliver Bachelor, Master's and Doctoral programmes on behalf of the E.H.E. EurAka. The new partnership comprises Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China.
June: The research institutes of the E.H.E. EurAka have become part of a research group which studies the next generation of new energy around neutrinos. Together with Nobel Laureates and global first-tier partners the research group cooperates in a project, which some insiders have already called Industry 5.0.
The University's Pro Vice-Chancellor International has visited the E.H.E. EurAka's Partner Colleges in Nepal. Part of the visit were also constructive discussions with two Ministries of the Nepalese Government.
May: The long-term research collaboration in technology and engineering between the E.H.E. Private European University EurAka and the iPAT Institute of the globally renowned public University of Erlangen, Germany, has been renewed. The E.H.E. EurAka's President, Prof Dr Diener, and the iPat Institute's Director, Prof Dr Schlücker, agreed that the previous research will continue. It has delivered research outputs of global impact.
In addition, Prof Dr Schlücker has joined the E.H.E. EurAka's doctoral faculty as supervisor of research students.
April: The E.H.E. EurAka's group of research institutes of the E.H.E./E.I.E./E.A.E./DBIC International have been proposed by the German Stifterverband Bildung.Wissenschaft.Innovation
(Association of Education.Science.Innovation) commissioned by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), to manage the official label "Innovativ durch Forschung" (innovative through research).
As result of the new collaboration with the Central University of Zambia, a complete cohort of research students starts their doctoral studies with the E.H.E. EurAka on April 20th.
March: The Carinthian Conservatory of Music, Austria, has invited Prof. Dr. Karl Gottfried Brun-Otte of the E.H.E. EurAka to give a special guest lecture: a composer portrait. For the E.H.E. EurAka that is something rather different. A welcome excursion to a very different subject area demonstrating the versatility of the E.H.E. EurAka's faculty.
The E.H.E. EurAka introduces her new programme of the MBA in Automotive Management. Manufacturing, distribution, and service-orientation belong to the core fields, which the new MBA programme covers. Start of studies is spring semester 2018.
For the fourth time, the E.H.E. EurAka's Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Dr habil Klaus Oestreicher, gives his annual guest lecture with the British Oxford Brookes University. The topic is 'On Strategy'.
February: The Central University of Zambia (CUZ) in Lusaka, Zambia, and the E.H.E. EurAka start their collaboration. First students are starting their PhD studies with the E.H.E. EurAka. Master's and Bachelor programmes will quickly follow.
The E.H.E. EurAka launches the new MBA-programme in Maritime Management. This MBA-programme was initiated by the E.H.E. EurAka's representation in Southeast Asia. These studies fully concentrate on shipping, ports, and maritime logistics, but also include legal regulations, compliance, and environmental subjects.
January: By unanimous decision, the Governing Board of the European Council of Business Education, ECBE, has accepted the E.H.E. EurAka as an Institutional Member. Furthermore, ECBE invited the E.H.E. EurAka to its assembly in Madrid in May. In particular, the EurAka University considers the unanimity of the ECBE decision as supporting evidence for her academic efforts.
Prof Dr Pierre Bultez, an internationally renowned expert in Finance and Accounting has receveived the E.H.E. EurAka's call as Programme Director Finance & Risk Management.
